WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
When you subscribe to the ScrawlrBox service or place an order on the Site, we collect the personally identifiable information (“PII”) you give us such as your name, shipping address, email address, and credit card information.
When you browse our Site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
We use PII to:
-Process and fill your subscription or order
-Notify you of your order status
-Contact you regarding your order
-Identify and authenticate you
Email marketing: By subscribing to our service or purchasing a product on this Site, you give us your permission to send you emails about our service, new products and other updates.
We use “cookies” on this Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our Site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any PII on our Site.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your express consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. ScrawlrBox will never share, sell or rent your PII to any third parties for marketing purposes unless you give us your express consent.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in for email marketing, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at [email protected]
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so, if you violate our Terms of Service, or to investigate suspected fraud, harassment, physical threats, or other violations of any law, rule or regulation.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then we store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our Site and its service providers.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
For example, we use an outside subscription management company to manage orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users. These companies do not retain, share, store or use PII for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.
The security of your PII is important to us. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
This Site does not target or collect information on children under the age of 13. Please do not use this Site if you are under the age of 13.
