ScrawlrBox #35 – July 2018

Featured Artist: Carolina Ghelfi

Artist, bullet journaler and scrapbooker from Argentina, currently living in Italy. After 15 years of working as a translator running her own agency, Carolina decided to change careers in order to follow her dreams and true passion: ART, memory keeping, journaling, and everything in between.

She opened a Scrapbooking supplies company in Argentina in 2012, where scrapbooking was still unknown and quickly became an icon and reference in the field throughout her country and beyond. Through her certification programmes, an entire generation of crafts and scrapbooking teachers arose.

She participated actively on TV shows and magazines before deciding to move to Italy for a fresh start both, in her life and business. From Europe she now runs Carolina Ghelfi Arts & Crafts, producing high quality art supplies, while she also distributes and creates content for well known brands such as Chameleon Art Products, Teresa Collins, WeR Memory Keepers and more.

She has also started a brand-new online school from where she teaches a variety of art and craft techniques, both in isolated courses and on a subscription option that allows students to receive a single class daily with the aim of inspiring people to follow their hearts and do something creative every day, no matter who busy their lives might be.

Use these supplies to write a shopping list, plan your week or document your daily life. But, don’t just write it down, do it with some creativity. Turn that shopping list into some beautiful typography or embellish your weekly plan with geometric patterns and intricate doodles. Organisation doesn’t have to be unimaginative, and creativity doesn’t have to be disorganised.
