Taylor Brooker

Hi! My name’s Taylor Brooker and I’m an illustrator and graphic designer from the UK. I love how much freedom art gives you, so I therefore don’t like to limit myself to one style or material. Realistic pencil portraiture is my favourite thing to do, but these bright monochrome sketches are one of the things you’ll find me doing the most during my spare time! I sometimes make videos on YouTube, including timelapses of my drawings, hand-drawn animations and sketchbook tours – you’ll be able to find some more of my pink/purple/blue monochrome sketches there! I hope the materials I’ve added to this box get your creative juices flowing – have fun and be creative!

What was in the box?

Staedtler Ergosoft 157 Pencil

A comfortable triangular-barrelled pencil with a soft-touch coating allowing for fatigue-free colouring sessions. The pencils coating is a smooth yet grippy paint that increases comfort without adding weight or bulk. The leads Anti-Break System (ABS) increases the break resistance by up to 50% whilst also increasing the strength of the pencil. The lead is thin enough for fine details but soft enough for covering large areas. The triangular barrel promotes proper grip whilst preventing pencils from rolling off a desk.

Bic Cristal Fun Ballpoint

Bic pens use quality ink giving you a smooth drawing experience every time you pick one up. The Cristal ballpoint pens have a clear barrel so you can easily check the level of your brightly coloured ink supply.

Pentel Hybrid DX White Gel Pen

The ultra smooth flowing opaque white pigmented gel ink is water and fade-resistant. The 1.0mm tip draws a line approximately a 0.5mm. The Hybrid DX is refillable and has a rubber finger grip for extra comfort.

Koh-I-Noor Jumbo Graphite Stick

These thick woodless sticks of graphite have a protective paper wrap to keep both the stick and your hands clean when in use. Perfect for drawing thin lines to shading large areas.

Helix Oxford Ballpoint Pen Black

A fantastically simple black ballpoint pen with a smooth cylindrical clear barrel for drawing comfort and a 1mm medium point nib.

Koh-I-Noor 6312 Eraser Pencil

A soft thermoplastic rubber contained in a pencil for erasing graphite. This pencil is made from 100% FSC sustainably resourced wood and can be sharpened like any regular pencil for detailed erasing.
