We call shotgun! Just like Paul didl for this months ‘Point of View’ #ScrawlrChallenge with the #095 ScrawlrBox. We love this unique take on this months challenge, a view while on the go!

What was your favourite way to use the Faber-Castell Markers?

“The pens have a great flow of ink, but working in layers enabled the various shades. As Bob Ross would’ve said I had a ‘happy accident’ when I tried to add a layer and because it hadn’t dried, the new layer actually lifted some of the previous colour and added highlights instead!”

There was something so whimsical about this piece Cindy made with the #096 ScrawlrBox. We love all the little detils in the cobbles, and the minila lines to suggest bricks. We don’t know where this dream like place is, but we would really like to potter down those steps and find that cafe.

Where is this magical cobbled place?

“This cobbled place comes from my imagination. I guess it’s a place that I would like to be when I draw.”

POV: All those travel pics coming in handy for when the #096 ScrawlrBox lands! We love this collection of pieces crated by Emma using this months box. All made from a different point of view from each adventure taken.

How did you find so much inspiration for your #ScrawlrChallenge?

“My inspiration mostly came from photos that I’ve got saved from various trips I’ve taken. I like liminal spaces and taking atmospheric shots of buildings and scenery, so I had lots of shots to choose from.”
