The hidden gem here for us is the amount of ways these supplies have been used and combined! THe level of detail is on point and every one of them is beautiful.
What was your favourite way to use these supplies?
“I was drawn to the intense colour of these pens but also loved the more delicate hues I could get by watering them down. My favourite way to use them was to combine these properties, laying down ink with a damp brush or sponge, letting it dry, then working over the top with the pens. The ink is transparent, so I could layer up the strokes to build depth and create new colours as I went, pushing the boundaries of what I could do with a limited colour palette."

We love the watercolour effects used with these supplies, teamed with the all the glorious pattern and doodle work. This must have been so relaxing to do.
Did you have a good experiment with these supplies before you got into this piece
“I got really stuck into these supplies and really love the colour selection. I found them to be especially wonderful for brush lettering! I wanted to be able to get a range of tones and using them with water enabled me to do just as well as create texture. Using the pens alone allowed me to add lots of fun details with plenty of line variation. It was an awesome box!”

So many patterns in so many ways. It was hard to choose a favourite even just amoung Carolines work! Each one very different using a variety of marks and dots. Brilliant.
You really went to town on creating so many pieces! What got you so inspired?
“What I love about each and every scrawlr box is the colour challenge along with the materials. I love using markers but rarely opt to use pinks and purples, so the box was a little out of my comfort zone. Combining them with the more neutral colours though I kind of fell in love with the set together, and the markers being so juicy and going down so beautifully I struggled to put them down!”
