Well talk about hodgepodge! This shelf is full of all sorts of weird and wonderful delights, really capturing this months playful prompt perfectly. Is it just us or is that eye staring straight into your soul?

Is this a shelf you have at home or is this a collction of things from your imagination?

”My drawing is of an imaginary shelf (though I’d love it to be real) I was inspired by things that I’d seen and done around the time in my life, and made them into cool objects and little knick-knacks to admire, which was a super fun challenge.”

This is just adorable isn’t it! A more fantasy approach to this months prompt, in the best way. Looks like the kind of shop that would take trades for its goods in exchange for a side quest... mission accepted.

What was your favourite way to use Inktense Pencils?

“My favourite way to use the inktense pencils was to sharpen them, then snap the led off and put them in a pallet. It was messy... but allowed me to use the pencils like watercolours rather than as pencils. As well as that, it let me mix the colours a lot easier and create some more even washes when I needed to.”

This is giving holiday vibes. We can just imagine aimlessly wondering through a market, sun beaming, stumbling across this gem. It looks so warm and inviting- not to mention to delicious! How much for that melon please?!

What was your inspiration for this lovely fruit market scene?

“ScrawlrBox arrived at a great moment. I am starting to work on watercolor since a few days. So when I saw the challenge, I right away imagine a colorful scene with a lot of food and fruits. The market was the logical answer to that it’s always full of life and colors.”
