Blending
Overlapping Method: Staring with your lightest colour, then add the darkest leaving a slight gap between the two. Make sure the first layer is still saturated. Then use your mid tone to bridge between the two colours. For an ultra smooth transition, use the light colour again and work back over the three colours.

Work Fast!
When colouring large areas, you need to colour quick! This way the strokes you make will blend into each other as they are still wet, so when they dry it should be smooth. Colouring slowly will allow the previous strokes to dry leaving lines and streaks.
