These Inktense pencils from Derwent contain a pigment-based lead that is soluble in water with an ink like quality. Because of this awesome combination of high-quality pigments with a water-soluble binder, you get super vivid colour results that are both super intense and permanent when dry. This quality also allows for great effects when layered as any layers underneath won’t reactivate with water. You can use them on a variety of surfaces including wood and fabric because of their might pigment power!
