Go Steady!
For an even and flat lay down of colour go slow! Small swipes of the pen, constant pressure and with regular shakes of the pen to keep that paint fluid. Wait for your layer to fully dry if you need it touch it up. Too much paint on the page will cause the surface to pill.
Patience is your best friend here.

Made a Mistake?
The layer-ability of these pens means you can easily cover any mistakes too! If
the mistake is an accidental paint blob, dab it with some tissue first to soak up the excess, then go over with your colour.
Another option is to incorporate your new paint blob friend, grab a straw and gently blow that paint out for a fun splatter!
