Top Tip From Chris

Soften Your Edges

Once your area dries, you can use a clean wet brush to gently go over any edges you think are too harsh. Want a looser vibe? Use a spray bottle! This means you wont get any control over how the edges are softened, but will result is a lovely loose effect – great for backgrounds.

Load Up Your Paintbrush
Load up your paintbrush with plenty of paint. You want a nice wet brush as it needs to glide across the page, filling in your required area with ease, resulting in smooth, transparent and even application of paint. The area you are working on should always look wet.
