Winsor and Newton Designer Gouache Tubes
Karin markers have a super flexible, Winsor and Newton have been making Gouache since 1935 and have the finest range available. If this is your first time using gouache they are an excellent way to get you started! Refined over years of development, this gouache offers a smooth, flat and opaque finish. Water-based and solvent-free, these paints are bursting with pigment. They are perfect for creating bold and vibrant illustrations in solid colour. Gouache has a thick, velvety body with a matt finish. Due to the ratio of pigment to binder the paint is less wet than watercolour to start with and you use less water while you paint.

Gradients
You can create beautiful gradients directly on the page. Apply your first colour, then with a slightly wet brush, sweep in your transitioning colour and blend until smooth.
Try not to add too much water or you will end up loosing your creamy consistency.
You can use a dry brush over the paint while still wet to buff out the colour too.

Glazing
