I was born in the Ural Mountains, so I can probably call myself a highlander. I studied at an art school, an art college, and art university. I’ve been working in the theater since I was 16. I think the theater especially influenced me and my work: decorative, exaggeration, picturesqueness - all this gradually entered into my work. The way I see the world now is not comparable to what it was 10 or even 5 years ago. I keep looking for my style, my themes and my ways of expressing ideas. I continue to discover the possibilities of color. I continue to develop my imagination. Every artist is responsible for what they bring to the world, and at the moment I can confidently say that I bring beauty.

Faber-Castell Creative Studio Soft Mini Pastels

With the whole rainbow to play with, the only limit is your imagination! These half-length soft pastels from Faber-Castell are mini in size but not in nature. The strong, vivid pigment packed colours offer a silky smooth flow of colour to the page. They are super easy to mix, blend and smudge even when using your fingers. Due to the vivid results to the perfect for quick and easy sketching. For preserving your pastel work, you should spray it with a fixative after completion. (RRP £12.99)

For a little more precision and tad less mess, this Derwent Pastel Pencil allows for a little more control.
