I was born in the Ural Mountains, so I can probably call myself a highlander. I studied at an art school, an art college, and art university. I’ve been working in the theater since I was 16. I think the theater especially influenced me and my work: decorative, exaggeration, picturesqueness - all this gradually entered into my work. The way I see the world now is not comparable to what it was 10 or even 5 years ago. I keep looking for my style, my themes and my ways of expressing ideas. I continue to discover the possibilities of color. I continue to develop my imagination. Every artist is responsible for what they bring to the world, and at the moment I can confidently say that I bring beauty.
