Each box provides you with a selection of art supplies and inspiration, but we also want to help spark your creativity. Every month we’ll give you a challenge word or phrase to be interpreted however you wish. The challenge is to try and create something using only the supplies in the box! Then share your artwork with us and the rest of the ScrawlrCommunity using the hashtag #ScrawlrChallenge

A great subscription service

I really enjoyed my year’s subscription to Scrawlrbox, it’s lovely to get a treat through the post once a month & I’ve enjoyed trying lots of products that I might not have bought otherwise.

The boxes are all well thought out with products that work well together. Whatever the medium you can tell the items included are good quality.

Each box contains everything you need to create multiple pieces of art. You usually get 10 sheets of paper (more than a certain other art subscription box) which gives you plenty of space to swatch and play with the materials and still create a lot of finished artworks.

The scrawlrzine has improved recently by including more tips about how to use the supplies, an interview with the featured artist and even some art history too. I also enjoy looking at artworks created from previous boxes.
