Monthly Art Challenge

Each box provides you with a selection of art supplies and inspiration, but we also want to help spark your creativity. Every month we’ll give you a challenge word or phrase to be interpreted however you wish. The challenge is to try and create something using only the supplies in the box! Then share your artwork with us and the rest of the ScrawlrCommunity using the hashtag #ScrawlrChallenge

Very messy

I really enjoyed using the graphite putty but it's SO MESSY! I think if the featured artist recommended gloves maybe there should have been some gloves in the box 😂
I've only followed the shell tutorial so far, I'm waiting until I've found a tin I can put the putty in and I have gloves to wear

Glad you enjoyed trying the graphite putty! Thanks for the honest feedback about the mess—and your suggestion about including gloves. That’s useful for us to consider when putting boxes together. We hope you enjoy your next experiment with it once you’re ready!

My order arrived with zero art supplies or sticker. The box was ransacked and retaped arriving with only the artwork print, zine and paper. I would like a refund of this months order or an immediate replacement of this months box

I’m so sorry that both your original box and the replacement arrived without the supplies. We’ve refunded your order, but I appreciate that doesn’t undo the disappointment or inconvenience. Thank you for giving us the chance to put things right, and I’m sorry we let you down.

Nice tutorial

I'm a real colour fan, so although I appreciate that charcoal/black and white is a really important part of art, my heart sinks a little when I open another charcoal-themed box ( we had one not so many months ago..). The up side of this box is that the tutorial actually talks you through a lovely piece of art rather than an advanced squiggle; I could see myself using the same techniques in other drawings, which usually doesn't happen with the tutorials. Please do more tutorials like this!

Always quality products, always something different each month to try. Variety of surfaces and colours to work on and a sweet treat that matches the bundle.
