Monthly Art Challenge

Each box provides you with a selection of art supplies and inspiration, but we also want to help spark your creativity. Every month we’ll give you a challenge word or phrase to be interpreted however you wish. The challenge is to try and create something using only the supplies in the box! Then share your artwork with us and the rest of the ScrawlrCommunity using the hashtag #ScrawlrChallenge

I've had a subscription for several years for my daughter. Lovely selection of art materials each month and different themes. My daughter is an accomplished artist and still loves receiving these.

Most of the time I really like what comes in the box, but there are some complete misses. What really makes me think about cancelling sometimes is that every single box comes with A5 sized paper and at least one black fineliner. I have no use for such tiny peaces of papers and I have more black fineliners than I can use up in this life. There really should be an option to opt out of these two items in the boxes.

Urban and landscape Sketching

I enjoyed this box. I took the box and used it for urban sketches and apart from a missing blue it was great.
I’m normally a watercolour person, markers are not my thing, but I found this mixture of thin and thick lines was a lot of fun. The colours are great for autumn scenes and zentangle art so I’m very happy with this box.
