What's in the box?

ScrawlrBlanks Mug

There's nothing more tempting than a perfectly untouched, blank 'canvas' to fill with all of your creative designs. With this blank ceramic mug, you can personalise and decorate to your hearts content, the only limit being your own imagination. Once you are happy with your creation you will just need to allow for the ink to dry for 15 minutes and then heat your mug in the oven at 160°C for 25 minutes. Once cooled your designs should be permanent and your mug ready to use. Finally, a mug worthy of your favourite beverages!

Edding 4200 Porcelain Brush Pens

This selection of pens are the ideal companion for all of your ceramic creations, and will give you fantastic colour vibrancy and dependability for all of your designs. The ink is even suitable for use on glazed ceramic and heat resistant glass, so once you have finished with your mug there are plenty of other objects that could use a little extra colour... These pens feature a flexible brush nib for excellent control and consistent colour application to give you reliable results time after time.

Before you dive head first in personalising your ScrawlrBlanks mug, you may want to plan our your designs a little first. With this custom ScrawlrBlanks 2B pencil, you can sketch, plan and draw out all of your ideas until you are happy and ready to apply them to your ceramic mug!

ScrawlrBlanks Mug Design Sketchbook

This custom Scrawlr sketchbook is perfect for planning out your mug designs. The paper is carefully sized to perfectly match the circumference of your mug, so once you have sketched out your ideas you can wrap the page around your mug to see exactly how your designs will look!

Perfect gift

For a nephew who doesn't really know what he wants for his birthday. Hes enjoyed planning, then drawing his own "designer" mug. His Mum is less than happy that its not dishwasher proof but hey, as her little sister I'm happy to have found a new way to annoy her :-)

Still Deciding How To Decorate This Mug!

I bought this kit with some of my points when the old loyalty scheme was coming to an end. It's a brilliant idea and I love the kit (I've had something similar in the past but not a Scrawlrbox kit) and I think they're good as gifts to yourself or for a friend that likes crafty little projects. The only limit really is your own imagination and my imagination hasn't decided how it wants me to decorate the mug yet, I'm still trying to decide! Delivery was so fast as well - it arrived only a day or two after I'd ordered it.

Disappointing

Good idea disappointing in practice found pens to be difficult to use and when trying to layer up it would scratch off previous layer. Quality was not good (had better results using sharpie in ceramics). Such a shame because the pen colours were really fun. Mug was fine. Addition of book to the kit was great idea to help sketch design. My first order from scrawlr I wouldn’t recommend.
