This box is focused on the style of the talented illustrator and street artist Si Mitchell. It contains a set of Pilot Pintor Markers, a Molotow Liquid Chrome pen, a Milan Graphite Pencil, a Milan 430 Eraser and Canaletto Liscio paper. These items can be used to explore the boldly coloured and illustrative style of street art.
The current the UK ILLUSTRATION CHAMPION after winning in 2017/18. He is an illustrator and street artist currently living in Cambridgeshire, he has produced artwork for Green Day, Mcfly, the Midnight Beast, BBC, e4, YouTube, Mountain Dew, amongst many many others. His artwork is comical and colourful with loads of character. He loves to paint on all surfaces and the bigger the better! He also loves to hear from people who enjoy his work, so feel free to say hello! Punk and ska is his favourite music and he is hugely into comics and star wars……….yes he is a huge huge geek (feel free to test him). He paints loads with friends all over the place, if you have a wall of any type or drawings that need doing……..get in contact with him!!! He loves a challenge!!!

This month we want you to get inspired by the illustrative, street art style of our featured artist and create some green, gold and chrome masterpieces. Explore the meaning behind the challenge phrase and try to create something that may not be as threatening as it may first appear.
ScrawlrTip: These markers work on most surfaces, so don’t feel like you have to stick to the paper included. Use the paper to swatch the supplies and sketch out your ideas, but why not find a different surface to get creative with. An old skateboard, flower pot or even an empty milk carton. There are lots of strange objects that could use your creativity, so why not try painting an item that isn’t paper.
The Pintor (‘painter’ in Spanish) is the perfect addition to any creative toolbox. It’s a water-based paint marker which is suitable for use on all surfaces. The surface properties influence whether it is permanent or non-permanent. On porous surfaces like wood, paper or cardboard it is permanent. Whilst it is removable on non-porous surfaces such as plastic, glass and metal by wiping with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid. It’s important to prime the markers before use. Remove the packaging by twisting the cap, then shake about 20 times. Prime the tip by pressing down several times onto a scrap of paper until the ink appears. The tip material is very strong and durable and the paint is quick drying.
