Clarissa Grandi

Clarissa is a geometric artist, author, and teacher. First and foremost an educator, her passion is introducing beginners to the truly accessible art of geometry. She delights in sharing her ideas, materials, and techniques with others, and her background in mathematics teaching enables her to demonstrate and explain difficult concepts simply and clearly.

In her own art making she enjoys exploring the interplay between the precision of human-made geometry and the more organic and chaotic geometries and symmetries found in nature.

Her geometric multimedia artworks have been exhibited in Mathematical Art exhibitions around the world.

Amazing box

An awesome box ! I'm always down to discover new art supplies and these did not disappoint in the slightest.

I usually use watercolours, and it was a treat learning to use these charcoal paints. I needed a bit of time to adapt my workflow to use them efficiently but once I did, they worked splendidly ! I particularly enjoy the 'grainy/splotchy' finish they leave when dry, it adds a very interesting texture to illustrations.

Also enjoyed learning about Clarissa Grandi's art ! Quite stunning patterns, I must say.

Love the colors, warm and easy to blend.

Love the colors

I love the colors of this palette. I love charcoal and colors! These are great because I don’t like touching charcoal stick due to a Sensory issue. The only thing I did not receive in my box was the pin, which sucked was really excited for this box. So I would have to give it about 3 1/2 stars.
