Mimma (b. 2000) is a Finnish-French artist based in Finland. She is working on her masters degree in art education. She is a bubbly person who has a passion for beautiful things and tries to enjoy the little things in life. Her art is between reality and everyday life mixed with something from somewhere else that can not quite be reached. She enjoys making art that captures parts of reality with added layers. She mainly works with oil pastels to create vibrant patterns using colours and combinations that spark joy in her and others.

Faber-Castell oil pastels are an oil based pastel packed full of pigment for intense luminosity. Theyre easy to blend and layer for various artistic effects. They’re ideal for encaustic as well as various pastel and scraping techniques. Suitable for different types of paper and can be used on other surfaces. Royal Sovereign Colour Shaper

This colour shaper tool is silicone tipped, which is non-absorbent so ideal for working with oil pastels. Use it to manipulate, mix and remove the pigment. It’s the smallest size so you can try to get some precision out of a notoriously hard to control supply. RRP £6.49

Koh-I-Noor Jumbo Graphite Stick, 6B

These thick woodless sticks of graphite have a protective paper wrap to keep both the stick and your hands clean when in use. Perfect for drawing thin lines to shading large areas. RRP £2.29
