Each box provides you with a selection of art supplies and inspiration, but we also want to help spark your creativity. Every month we’ll give you a challenge word or phrase to be interpreted however you wish. The challenge is to try and create something using only the supplies in the box! I love the contents in this months box as I’m learning more about alcohol markers.
I've been on again off again with art, always buying the supplies, doing something, thinking it was rubbish, and giving up. Then a long pause until the next time. This past year I've been trying to get back into it again, got a few of my own supplies, got some stuff as a birthday present last year and then changed to a more creative course in Uni.
Remembered I subscribed to this years ago and decided to try it again. Really happy with what I got sent, hoping each month will let me explore a snippet of different mediums without me having to heavily invest, something I think these boxes are great for! I didn't really care too much for alcohol markers but this box has made me realise that actually they're really fun and you can do some really cool stuff with them! Looking forward to more boxes.
It was like this box was especially for me I’d just run out of my pale markers! I’ve only just started using markers too so my first box back after a break was superb! I can’t wait for the next one.
Love these boxes! I never know the exact day they're coming which makes it more exciting when they do come. There's always something new to discover and try and often something I've thought of doing = more fun 🙂
Some boxes are more to my liking than others but that to me is part of it and some I didn't think I'd like has become big favourites and I've bought more of similar to what I received in the box.
I'm always looking forward to getting the new box and (pat on my back) such a good idea of mine to subscribe to this excellent subscription.

Scrawlrbox day is always the best day of the month. The watercolour shades are lovely this month. We have never had sumi ink sticks or sumi ink, chinese brushes or rice/bamboo/cotton paper. Seasonal colours would be nice too. Even the Turkish art, metal batik style tools to pour ink or paint, would be different. Possibly other styles of art from around the world, or it will be paint pens, markers, watercolours etc. constantly in rotation. An Inktober box would be nice each year, even if it's a stand alone item to purchase. Your boxes are always very well curated, always colour co-ordinated, even with the sweet treat. You put a lot of effort into each one. Thankyou.
